At Five Springs Kennels, we offer training programs, from Puppy Socialization to puppy Obedience training for ALL dogs and ALL breeds. They are designed to help your dog reach their potential and to become a well-mannered member or your family. At Five Springs Kennels Boykin Spaniels Gun Dogs & Training of Virginia, we understand that leaving your pet behind can be a stressful experience. That's why we have created a comfortable and welcoming environment that will make your pet feel right at home, so you can rest assured that your pet is in good hands.

Gun Dog Training Levels

Puppy Training

Introductory Stage: Best to begin puppy's training and kennel at 4-6 months of age. First month your puppy will be exposed to birds, guns and different hunting grounds. Prey drive and basic field commands (Here) are the primary focus. Developing a confident dog, but not yet expecting tremendous amount of discipline at this stage.

Basic Obedience

Second Stage (Seasoned): Starting between 3- 6 months of age. Focusing on obedience commands. Once your dog is well behaved and confident in the field whistle commands are introduced. Check out our training and kennel services.

Advanced Training

The finished hunting retriever ... A minimum 3 month training program which includes intense training. Your dog will have the understanding and respect of the commands and the handler. Our kennel specializes in Boykin spaniels training.

Tune Up /Refresher

One month minimum. training and kennel

BEFORE BRINGING YOUR DOG TO OUR KENNEL YOU MUST EMAIL OR TEXT A RECORD SHOWING YOUR DOGS VACCINES, RABIES AND BORDATELLA ARE UP TO DATE FOR TRAINING AND KENNEL SERVICES.
